Blank Image For Mimic SE Overallheader/Title

Blank Image For Mimic SE Overallheader/Title

Can you post a blank image for the header/title images in the overallheader file (Home, Login, Members, Etc.)?

I want to add a custom link but I don't have the original image (and font) that was used. If you can post the PhotoShop file that would be perfect.

you have an editable png in the en folder that was made with fireworks.
Here is a quick psd i just made but it may not be exactly the same as the other buttons so you may have to remake them to match, or dl a free demo of fireworks from adobe.

One last thing...

Could you post a sample of the style code that I would need to add... and to which file?

open styles/mimic_se/theme/mimic_se.css

FIND

Code: Select all
  1. li.menu-admin span,
  2. li.menu-admin span a {
  3.     background: url("{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/nav_admin.gif") 0 0 no-repeat;
  4.     }

AFTER, ADD

Code: Select all
  1. li.menu-newbuttonname span,   /*edit all instances of newbuttonname to display correct image name*/
  2. li.menu-newbuttonname span a {
  3.     background: url("{T_IMAGESET_LANG_PATH}/nav_newbuttonname.gif") 0 0 no-repeat;
  4.     }
  5. li.menu-newbuttonname span      { width: 67px; }     /*edit width to display correct size*/
  6.

then delete your style cache for mimic_se in your acp. You may also have to delete your browser cache for the image to appear.

*font is Tahoma so you should already have it installed

OK... I got Fireworks and created the button... Everything is fine except:

I don't know how to shorten the "width" of the image in Fireworks?

There's extra room after I add my text... So the image is way wider (unnecessarily) than the other images in the in overallheader.
