Just check http://michaelo.fidesignteam.com/144/portal.php This is where I test the latest versions and theme is fine there so I guess you have the older version (I hope)... must start putting version numbers or revisions on the footer :?

~ I have uploaded a new original theme, PowerMetal. All it really needs(I think) is a little testing and a look over by someone else to make sure everything is done on it. I'd appreciate someone taking a look at it and letting me know if I missed anything. It's 99% due to testing.

~ Also, are the themes being added to the template demo as they become available? If not, are we going to be able to add them ourselves?

awsome template Chucklehead. I like it!
I had to upload Michaelos dark clock to mke it work though. I am wondering if we should include the clock in the template images folder, and edit the url to it, if it is not using the default clock. That way we wont get tech support questions about why the clock is not working.

I quite agree. I think in time it would be better to have more than one demo forum, say one for each specific area, such as, dark, metalic, flash intense, red, blue, light, etc. I am amazed at the number of styles made so far.

Perhaps, for now, we should have the styles demo main for ready styles and a second one for those under construction. An in the download sections, the styles should have the same divisions, with a disclaimer that all styles not released as finished and not validated by our team do not receive support, although we will listen to user comments.

This is to me part of our commisioning policy, where we need to test our themes to a strict checklist before release. I will start the suggestion in another thread.

good ideas. I will setup a sight at http://fidesignteam.com/ for development and pm everyone with ftp info so you can upload templates that are under construction. We shold keep a changelog on that site also as the additional info will be helpful, and the activity will make it easier to test the templates.

~ Excellent ideas!! Changelog...separate demos and downloads sections..validation & checklists for creating/porting themes!! I'm starting to get a lot more excited about everyone's combined effort in trying to make this site an invaluable resource for themes/styles and providing nothing but quality product and support. I'm honored to be a part of what could be the beginning of a fantastic site and partnership!!

I had to upload Michaelos dark clock to make it work though. I am wondering if we should include the clock in the template images folder...

~ I had meant for it to be included and the code changed but forgot to do it in my haste to upload it. I'll make the appropriate changes and reupload very soon.

...and I'm glad you like it! I'm quite fond of it myself.

Just to update you I have a number of styles I want to make or port

I have about 18 colours in my gems themes of which here are 2 examples
1 2

Then I have been given exclusive right to port these 4 themes to make them de-personalised and 1.4 compatible
1 2 3 4

And then there is a further project I wish to work on. A completly css based theme. Where transparent gifs offer an overall style and feel, whereas all block headers are simple css based colours and go under the gifs. This then means you can have one template with a multitude of styles within it. Just by changing to a diferent css, you have a totally diferent feel. A bit like the current subice variants in 1.4.0, but better :)

~ Tribal Steel is now in the Downloads section. I believe all it really needs is some testing.
