[Solved] Posting error

[Solved] Posting error

Postby krel » Fri Nov 09, 2007 12:33 pm

Hello and thank you for this.... amazingly sweet style for phpbb3 ^^

However, i have a little problem with provista's templates using phpbb3 RC7.

When i try to post a new message, i fill the subject name, then put some text, and when i try to preview it or just submit, the page is reloaded and i get the error message :

The sent form is invalid. Try again.

It can only comes from the templates as it works fine with any other styles :?

I should precise I am using a french version of phpbb3, maybe it changes something (although i doubt it does...)

I tried it on Firefox and IE7, downloaded multiple times the templates, but i still have this error :/

And i have don't have a more precise error message then "invalid form", so i can't figure out what is wrong... plus i'm a noob with templates and advanced web programming so can't do much on my own ><;

So if you have any idea of where it could come from and how i could resolve my problem that would be nice ^^

Thank you for reading this ppost and I hope i'll hear from you soon ^^

Oh and if this is a known error, or if it has already been resolved, just lock/delete the post ;)

I dont know what it could be because all the posting*.html files are exactly the same as prosilver.
What is your url?
open proVista/style.cfg and check your version number. it should read:
version = 1.7 phpBB-3.0.RC7

Ok i'm definately an idiot :cry:

I didn't check the vrsion i had and it was the 1.6 for phpbb RC5 so no wonder why it didn't work with RC7 :oops:

Anyway, thank you very much for answering so fast ^^

And sorry for making such a useless topic >.>;
